2019 has been a tremendous year when it comes to India's women's athletes and adding a further claim to the statement, Roma Shah has bagged two gold and silver each in the World Raw Powerlifting Championships. Roma, who hails from Surat won these laurels in the competition held in Moscow.

रोमा शाह भारत की पहली ऐसी महिला खिलाड़ी बनी हैं जिन्होंने देश के लिए रशिया के मॉस्को में आयोजित ''वर्ल्ड रो पावर लिफ्टिंग चैंपियनशिप'' में 2 गोल्ड और सिल्वर मेडल जीते हैं. रोमा ने माइनस 10 डिग्री तापमान में तीन कैटेगरी में 330 किलो वजन उठाकर विश्व के 2000 खिलाड़ियों को आश्चर्यचकित कर दिया है.
